About Us

The Whitehall Police Benevolence Fund is a 501c nonprofit organization that is separate from the City of Whtehall and the Whitehall Division of Police.  Funded primarily through voluntary payroll contributions of our members, we are also greatful for community stakeholders who support us in our mission.

Some of the things that the benevolence fund has been able to do in the past year include:

• Paying for the annual police awards banquet where officers and civilian employees are recognized for their service and accomplishments
• Supporting 154 children in our community by purchasing toys and holiday necessities during Shop with a Cop
• Purchasing candy, drinks, and food for Trunk or Treat and National Night Out - both community engagement events
• Providing food for officers, volunteers, and community members during special events and also just to say thank you throughout the year
• Supporting employees and their families during times of hardship through several thousand dollars of financial assistance
